Our activities for parents and children are fun and interactive - come and try them to see why :-)
Read on to discover the scientific and educational reason we created them. They are an essential part of your child's development.
The first five years of childhood are the most critical period for future development, health and happiness, more critical than any other time in our lives. A nurturing environment and experiences throughout these years provide the essential foundation for children to grow into healthy, happy and productive adults.
The scientific consensus is that the period from conception to age 5 is crucial to ensuring the foundation for health and happiness.
The first two years of a baby's development involve critical milestones. Research shows that many parents underestimate the amount of active interaction needed before their child even speaks.
A growing body of research shows how important it is for babies to be in contact with other babies
Parenting communities are also essential for the mental well-being of parents. Our baby clubs give the parent and baby the opportunity to spend quality time together
Over the past 15 years, our bilingual program has helped hundreds of babies make friends and learn English!
Our "Parents & Tots" program offers a wider range of activities for our little students and their parents!
"Monday Baby Fun"
> 5 - 15 months
KidooLand Vallauris: Monday, 10h-11h30
(Outside school holidays)
KidooLand is a great place for parents (Mums or Dads, Carers, Grandparents or nounous) to get to know other new parents in the area, and for your youngster to start to interact with other children their own age in a fun and safe environment. Each session will stimulate your youngster's senses and help move development and learning forward.
Each session will start a moment of calm in which parents can enjoy a tea or coffee and chat in a safe space, as your little ones enjoy some free play.
The session will then start in earnest and will include some singing, music and sensory activities; we will play with scarves, bubbles, feathers and of course musical instruments! We'll have fun singing lots of songs and rhymes to develop early speech and language skills. We'll get moving with some danse and movement activities, including using our special baby gym equipment.
It's the perfect way to gently awaken and stimulate your child's senses.
Day: Lundi
Centre: KidooLand VALLAURIS
Time: 10-11h30
Age: 5 - 15 mois.
These Monday sessions are specifically adapted for children aged from 5 months (after the 1st vaccinations have been done) to 15 months. Children aged over 15 months are invited to join our Toddler sessions on Thursdays and Fridays. If you're not available to join us on these days, you are of course very welcome to join us on a Monday, so long as it is understood that these sessions are aimed at the younger age group.
Please bring a clean towel to lay your baby down on.
We understand that during the winter time, there is lots of illness going around so we're introducing 2 "Pay as you go" formulas to make things easier for you:
"Pay as You Go"
Formula 1: 12€ per session, reserved 1 at a time.
Formula 2: 10€ per session if purchased as a group of 10 sessions (100€ per group of 10), valid until 16/06/2023.
You can reserve/confirm your place by email (vl@kidooland.com) by 2pm the day before.
Club registration : 30€/year/family
The club registration fee will be added to your first invoice if you aren't already a member and gives you access to our KidooClub.
"Toddler Club"
> 15 months - 3 years
Fridays, 10h - 11h30, KidooLand Vallauris
(Outside school holidays)
Join Sian for educational activities and a gentle introduction to the English language. Sian will organise workshops entirely adapted to your toddler to stimulate them, gently awaken them and introduce them to the sounds of the English language, including:
* Songs, dances and music workshops calm children and promote the production of hormones associated with pleasure, well-being and confidence, which then allow the brain to be more open and efficient in learning.
* Sensory workshops (scarves, bubbles, lights) to awaken the senses.
* Arts and crafts projects (homemade modeling clay, stickers, paper shredding, collage, painting etc.) to improve concentration, problem solving skills and give children the opportunity to use their creativity and imagination.
* Motor skills workshops using our baby gym equipment
* Fine motor skills workshops with small challenges and individual games that allow children to train and strengthen their fingers and gain confidence.
* At KidooLand Village Villeneuve-Loubet, there will occasionally be "forest school" workshops outside (in the park beside our centre) to introduce the little ones to the world around us and stimulate their curiosity.

"In February, in art they we did a 'rainbow' collage - a team effort. It helps our little ones to share, learn colors (in English) help them with manual dexterity (glue) and it was tied to St. Patrick's Day so a cultural element as well. In music we sang The Wheels on the bus go round and round... a great song where you have to move and sing! There is a coffee break in the middle which gives parents the opportunity to discuss and exchange information. We also distribute parenting magazines that we receive and information on events and new parent-baby places."
